印度证券交易委员会(SEBI)为共同基金行业的纯执行平台(EOPs)引入了一个监管框架。这些平台现在被要求注册，并被禁止提供定期计划。
该平台只允许在没有分销商帮助的情况下直接交易共同基金的计划。电子交易平台被定义为促进共同基金计划直接计划交易的数字平台。在印度共同基金协会(AMFI)注册的实体将作为资产管理公司(amc)的代理，并将其系统与amc和/或注册和转让代理(rta)整合，以促进交易。
印度证券交易委员会注册税务和投资专家Jitendra Solanki表示，这将增加投资者的成本。他们将由提供免费咨询服务的科技平台收取费用。
他进一步补充说，投资者现在无法同时从机器人顾问那里获得咨询和执行，这意味着大多数投资者将不得不考虑自掏腰包寻求投资方面的专业建议。
Optima Money Managers的总经理兼首席执行官Pankaj Mathpal表示，该平台仅面向直接计划的投资者。SEBI将eop分为两类。第1类EOPs需要在AMFI注册，第2类EOPs需要在SEBI注册为股票经纪人。第一类的交易费用将由资产管理公司承担，因此它不会影响投资者，但第二类投资者将承担交易成本，这将影响他们的回报。
MyFundBazaar首席执行官兼创始人Vinit Khandare表示，到目前为止，可行的平台必须遵守注册投资顾问(ria)制定的解释性建议规则。考虑到这些公司的大量客户，对一些投资者来说，遵守RIA要求变得越来越具有挑战性。然而，根据目前的规则，现在更清楚的是，一个平台可以作为一个只执行的平台。
“过去，作为一个成熟的RIA，你被禁止交叉销售任何提供内置佣金的产品。这些标准使这些企业有可能发展出一种收入模式。”
对投资者成本的影响取决于EOP的类别。SAG Infotech的医学博士Amit Gupta表示，在AMFI注册的EOPs可以收取由amc承担的固定交易费，而基于经纪人的EOPs可以征收由投资者承担的固定交易费
有人担心成本可能会增加，但印度证券交易委员会坚持认为，对投资者来说，直接计划不会变得更昂贵。EOP类别的选择取决于平台是否可以向客户收取服务费用，”Gupta说。
他进一步补充说，有关第一类EOPs的入职要求和交易费用，有待澄清。
根据Gupta的说法，对于目前使用现有平台执行的数字玩家来说，迁移到EOP 1预计会在操作上很麻烦。
过去几年，共同基金计划的直接计划在投资者中获得了吸引力。
印度证券交易委员会(Sebi)在其通知中表示，新框架将从9月1日起适用。
